What a coincidence

You might have noticed this sculpture in front of South Beverly Grill. It's by Bernar Venet the well known French sculptor. Made of solid Corten steel, its squiggly line creates a levity that belies its weight.

And, if you happen to walk just down the street, poke your head into the lobby of the 144 South Beverly Drive building and see this Bernar Venet large scale drawing. Impressive, and a total coincidence!

Prime NY Strip Steak Sandwich

Paul is running this steak sandwich at South Beverly as a feature on Thursdays and Fridays. It's a beautiful hardwood grilled prime NY strip. Delicious.

South Beverly Grill won the jury award for Best Restaurant Design given by the LA chapter of the AIA. Congratulations everyone! If you haven't checked it out, now is your chance to go. Reservations taken but not necessary. Enjoy the Honor Bar while you wait.

We opened South Beverly Grill and the Honor Bar in April 2010. It was a long time in the making but now the real fun begins! The design was a great collaboration between interior design consultant Brad Dunning, architects Assembledge, and our own design team here at Hillstone.
